Updates to byteEvents Part II

We are now at Part II of recent byteEvent updates. If you missed Part I, you may want to visit the page before or after reading these updates.

Keep your Customers Informed

Event Administrators now have the ability to customize the content in the email receipt and online "thank you for registering page".  This is perfect for letting customers know what to bring, where to go or even a space to promote another upcoming event! 

You will find this text area once you log-in as the event administrator and "Go to..." > Event Details.

Multiple Price Increases 

Setting dates to increase prices is a great way to drive customers to register early. We've increased the amount of price increases from one to three giving you more flexibility. 

The screen shot below shows the category price & the price increase areas in the administrator screen. As you can see, I've added three price increases on different dates for $5 each. The amount is added to the base price each time and the "new rate" shows you how much the end-user will pay. 

These price increases can be set by going to Stages & Categories in the admin screen.

Another small update, when creating a stage, the default date will pull from the event date. This will save the event creator time by only having to enter the date once.
